Round six of the 2021 British Superbike Championship at Cadwell Park certainly didn’t disappoint, with some fantastic results for the Super Soco sponsored riders…
It was another fantastic weekend at the prestigious Bennetts British Superbike Championship, which stopped off at the beautiful Cadwell Park for the sixth round of the hotly contested 2021 season.
Moto Rapido Ducati rider, Tommy Bridewell had a fantastic weekend at the Lincolnshire circuit, with three third place podium finishes of the three Superbike races. It puts him up to fourth in the championship with a total of 205 points and is currently sitting at just 18 points behind Christian Iddon and Tarran Mackenzie, who each share 223 points and are currently sitting at second and third in the championship.
In the Pirelli National Superstock Championship, Chrissy Rouse also enjoyed a fantastic weekend. And despite narrowly missing out on a podium finish after leading the race for a period, he came away with a well-earned fifth position in the race and leaves the weekend with a strong seventh position in the standings overall.
Fortune favours the brave, and for Pirelli National Junior Superstock Championship, Liam Delves, a gamble on dry tyres in drying conditions very nearly paid big dividends. The Birmingham-based rider had a fantastic race and ended up ultimately finishing in fourth position.
The True Heroes Racing camp were out in full force following a challenging weekend at Donnington Park previously. Riders Dave Mackay and Dave Sellars enjoyed a great race in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship, despite the inclement weather interrupting the race for a period. In the Ducati Tri-Options Cup, rider Ben Falla fought for some positive results at the Lincolnshire circuit, despite still hurting from the previous weekend’s injuries sustained from a crash at Donnington.
Super Soco title sponsored, Harrison Mackay, was enjoying a well-earned break as the Honda British Talent Cup took a break from normal proceedings as it prepares to support the MotoGP championship at the Silverstone British GP this coming weekend, an incredible opportunity for the youngster as he embarks on a promising racing career.
The next round of the Championship will see the teams heading to Snetterton on September 03-05. Don’t miss it!
