Rising roads and short circuit superstar Davey Todd claimed the 2022 Pirelli National Superstock Championship title in style at the weekend after winning Race 2 at Donington Park onboard his Milenco by Padgetts Motorcycles Honda.
Davey Todd: “I don’t know what to say, I honestly haven’t got any words… I’ve said this all weekend but I’ve not been going out there thinking about the championship, I was concentrating on the race. This is for the team, what an incredible squad they are.”
Andy Fenwick, Vmoto Soco UK’s Managing Director: “This championship win is Davey’s first national title, but I’m sure it’ll be the first of many. Davey is real talent, and I’m really proud of his success.
We sponsor many riders in the paddock, and it’s fantastic that Davey has wrapped up his title early. At the final BSB round at Brands later this month we will be rooting for our other sponsored riders going for title success, including Tommy Bridewell in the British Superbike class, and David Shoubridge in the Ducati Performance TriOptions Championship.
But I would add that our thoughts are also with both Chrissy Rouse and Liam Delves and we wish them both a speedy recovery following their separate racing incidents last weekend.”
