A week-long programme earlier in the month saw over 30 dealers and fleet operators visit the Vmoto UK head office in Maidenhead to get trained up on a new Softway management software system.
The software will provide a portal for both dealers and fleet operators to easily order both electric bikes and spare parts from a centralised warehouse on a next-day delivery basis, resulting in a more efficient service for end-users and minimum down-time for professional last-mile delivery riders.
The training was headed up by Vmoto UK Operations and After Sales Manager Paul Chester and Vmoto European Technical Manager Rob Schouten.
Six UK dealers are currently testing the new system in-house, which will allow Vmoto to further evaluate and develop the new software platform before it is rolled out nationwide to Vmoto dealers across the UK in early 2027.
Cameron Pyne, Vmoto UK Country Manager
“I’d like to thank Rob for making the trip over from the Netherlands and joining us for the training week. His attendance shows how much Vmoto values the UK market. What’s more, the week-long event didn’t only help us get dealers and fleet operators up to speed with Softfway, but feedback gained will also allow us to fine tune the software to suit the nuances that come with being a forward-thinking electric mobility company.
We are always looking towards the future at Vmoto, and it’s going to be an exciting start to the New Year with the Softway system coming on board. It’s going to simplify procedures and how dealers and operators work, ultimately making them both more profitable with Vmoto.”
